By Sis Meg Cadelina "Whoever opens his heart to Christ will not only understand the mystery of his own existence, but also that of his own vocation; he will bear the abundant fruit of grace." ~ Pope John Paul II It was Friday night when I headed to CAEC from work to attend the Teaching Night. I was a bit early not because it’s Friday & I don’t want to spend more time at work but because I was interested about the topic. I don’t want to miss the talk & the sharing. I guess almost all the audience; both household heads & members will agree with me that we were really looking forward to what's in store for us on that night. At the back of our minds was a bunch of questions that we hope the speaker (Tita Elaine) & the rest of the sharers will answer. Our most frequent & favorite question: How do we find our God’s Gift and How do we really get to know our true God’s Gift. Though the topic is a bit misleading or maybe I assumed a different perspective, God’s Gift gave me a different sense of definition. It is love & life and that is our VOCATION. |

Article by: Jen Capones (Secretariat Correspondent) Photos by: Almin Manalo (Secretariat Photographer) It was a night full of fun, laughter, surprises and memories. Indeed, the very first SECRETARIAT TEAMBUILDING for 2009 was a success. The night started out by dividing the whole Secretariat into 2 teams: CHEESEter Team (Yellow) and Team AZUL (Blue). Both teams gave out their corniest but funniest cheer. This was enough to start the ball rolling for all of the activities that were planned by the Secretariat Core Group (headed by Bro JM Junio and Sis Noemie Castro) including: Pass Me the Message (Objective Accomplised: Get to know SECRETARIAT) Here, a certain message will be passed from one team member to another by using only hand gestures without uttering a word. It proved to be both educational and crazy, as they have learned that TEAMWORK, Accuracy of message delivery, and knowing the Secretariat Tasks, without losing your sense of humour are necessary to get the message across, and this is what SECRETARIAT is all about!
